Terms & Conditions

 

Welcome to Daiecharm Decor Pty Ltd. These Terms & Conditions ("T&Cs") govern your access to and use of our house staging services and website. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

 

1. Services

 

1.1. Description of Services: We provide professional house staging and styling services to prepare properties for sale. Our services may include consultation, furniture and decor hire, and installation. A detailed scope of work will be outlined in a separate quote or service agreement provided to you.

1.2. Quote & Agreement: A quote will be provided to you based on your specific needs. This quote is valid for a period of specific days (will be told at the time of quotation signing). Acceptance of the quote, along with payment of the required deposit, constitutes your agreement to these T&Cs and the services outlined in the quote.

 

2. Pricing and Payment

 

2.1. Pricing: All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

2.2. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of (amount as agreed at the time of signing quotation) of the total quoted amount is required to secure your booking and commence work.

2.3. Final Payment: The remaining balance is due and payable on or before the day of installation. We reserve the right to withhold installation until final payment has been received in full.

2.4. Overdue Accounts: A late fee may be applied to overdue accounts. We reserve the right to remove all staged items from the property if payment is not made in accordance with the agreed-upon terms.

 

3. Client Responsibilities

 

3.1. Property Condition: You are responsible for ensuring the property is clean, tidy, and ready for staging before our team arrives. This includes ensuring all builders, cleaners, and other contractors have completed their work.

3.2. Access: You must provide clear and unrestricted access to the property for the installation and de-staging of all items. Any delays or additional costs incurred due to poor access or property readiness may be billed to you.

3.3. Insurance: While we take the utmost care with our property and yours, you are responsible for maintaining your own property insurance (e.g., home and contents insurance) during the staging period. We are not liable for any damage to your property unless it is caused by our proven negligence.

 

4. Hire Period and De-staging

 

4.1. Hire Period: The standard hire period is 8 weeks, commencing on the day of installation. Any extension to this period must be requested in writing and will incur additional fees.

4.2. De-staging: We will arrange for the removal of all staged items at the end of the hire period or once the property has been sold, whichever comes first. You must provide us with reasonable notice (as agreed by our team members) to schedule the de-staging.

4.3. Loss or Damage: You are responsible for the staged items from the moment of installation until they are de-staged by our team. You will be liable for any loss or damage to the items, including furniture, art, and decor, beyond reasonable wear and tear. A fee will be charged to cover the cost of repair or replacement.

 

5. Intellectual Property

 

5.1. Copyright: All designs, concepts, and images created by us for your staging project remain our intellectual property.

5.2. Marketing and Portfolio: We retain the right to photograph the staged property for use in our marketing materials, portfolio, and on social media channels. We will not disclose your personal information or the specific address in these materials without your consent.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

 

6.1. To the extent permitted by Australian law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the services.

 

7. General

 

Amendments: We reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website or communicated to you at the time of signing quotation.
